Dynamite Ideas Privacy Policy
Who we are
Dynamite Ideas is a small print-on-demand apparel shop based in Chicago, Illinois, USA. We sell original t-shirt and sweatshirt designs through our Etsy shop (DynamiteIdeas) and promote them on Pinterest.
This policy explains what personal information we handle, why, and who we share it with. It covers our Etsy shop, our website dynamiteideas.com, and the “Dynamite Ideas” app we use to publish Pins to our own Pinterest account.
Information we collect
When you buy from us on Etsy. Etsy shares the details needed to fulfill your order: your name, shipping address, the items you ordered, and any message you send us. Etsy handles payment; we never see or store your card or bank details.
When you contact us. If you message us through Etsy or by email, we keep that conversation so we can help you.
Through our Pinterest app. Our app connects only to our own Pinterest business account. It uses Pinterest’s sign-in (OAuth) to create boards and publish Pins of our products, and to read basic statistics about those Pins. It does not collect information about other Pinterest users, and it does not read anyone’s private boards, messages, or followers.
On our website. dynamiteideas.com may use basic analytics provided by our hosting platform, such as page views and approximate location. We do not run advertising trackers.
How we use and share it
We use your information only to make and ship your order, answer your questions, and keep basic business records. We never sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
We share it only with the services that help us run the shop:
| Service | What it does for us | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Etsy | Marketplace, checkout and payment | Your order and messages (Etsy collects these) |
| Printful | Prints and ships your order | Your name, shipping address and order items |
| Hosts the Pins we publish | Our product images, titles and links only | |
| n8n | Runs our order and listing automation | Order details while passing them to Printful |
| Slack | Internal notifications for our team | Order summaries, no payment details |
We also use AI tools (such as Anthropic’s Claude and OpenAI’s image models) to help create designs and listing text. We do not send customer information to these tools.
We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Keeping it safe
We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfill orders, handle returns, and meet tax and accounting rules, usually up to 7 years. Access tokens for Etsy, Printful and Pinterest are stored encrypted in our automation tool and are never shared.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. You can also disconnect our app from Pinterest at any time in your Pinterest settings. Etsy’s own privacy controls apply to the information Etsy holds.
Children
Our shop is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
